My Journey from hospitality to webflow and UX
I am a freelance UX/UI designer and webflow developer. I transitioned myself from the hospitality industry into the UX/UI field and webflow development.
Getting into UI/UX and webflow development
As a restaurant supervisor, I was used to a fast-paced environment where every detail mattered. But after several years in the hospitality industry, I felt the need for a change. In 2019, I took the leap and decided to pursue a career in UX/UI design.
It was a challenging transition, but I was determined to learn and grow. I enrolled in online courses and spent my free time practicing and experimenting with different design tools. My hard work paid off and I landed my first job as a UX/UI designer.
Working as a designer allowed me to use my attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a new way. I loved being able to create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing designs that solved real problems.
In 2020, I decided to take my skills to the next level and started learning webflow development. I was fascinated by the possibilities of creating interactive and dynamic websites using webflow.
It wasn't easy at first, but with perseverance and dedication, I was able to master the tools and techniques of webflow development. Now, I work as a UX/UI designer and webflow developer, and I couldn't be happier with my career change.
I'm grateful for the opportunities that my new career has given me and the fulfillment that I feel every day when I see my designs and websites come to life. It just goes to show that it's never too late to pursue your passions and make a change.
